What Is a Seller Discovery Session?

A Seller Discovery Session is a structured intake process for homeowners in Brighton, South Lyon, Howell, and Southeast Michigan who are thinking about selling their home — whether that is in the next 30 days or the next 12 months.

It is not a listing appointment. It is not a sales call. It is a deliberate way to start a smarter conversation. Before your first conversation with Derek, the session gives you a chance to organize and share the details that matter: your property specifics, your timeline, your priorities, and any concerns or questions you are carrying. That context lets Derek come to any follow-up conversation already knowing the shape of your situation, rather than starting from scratch.

The result is a more useful first conversation. Less time spent on basics. More time spent on the specifics of your property, your local market, and your actual options.

Who It Is For

The Seller Discovery Session is designed for Michigan homeowners who:

  • Are considering selling their home in Brighton, South Lyon, Howell, or a surrounding Southeast Michigan community and want to understand their options before committing to anything
  • Have a specific timeline pressure — a job relocation, a life transition, a financial goal — and need to think through the moving parts in a structured way
